Bible Study, Scripture Reflection and Lectio Divina

Monthly Scripture Reflection with
Sr. MaryAnn Cantlon

Will resume in the fall.

Lectionary Based Bible Study

Anyone interested in reflecting each week on the Scriptures for the upcoming weekend is invited to join a lectionary-based Bible study group.
Thursday mornings from 10:00 to 11:00 on ZOOM
( If interested in an evening class,  please let us know.)
We will use the “Insights” Reflection Booklet and follow a simple format of prayer, reading the Scriptures, reflection, and faith sharing. The goal is to make the weekend readings ever more meaningful for us.  No prior Scripture study is required.  Booklets will be ordered for you.

Look for a start date in the Fall.    Gigi Frailey 860-561-4235 or email:

Lectio Divina

Revisiting the Ancient Practice of Sacred Reading. Listening with the “ear” of the heart.

The schedule for Fall 2021 will be announced later this summer.

Lectio Divina is an ancient Christian practice of prayer and scripture reading intended to help us enter deeply into the presence of God and to increase our knowledge of God's Word. It is simply a method that enables us to experience the Living Christ in our hectic lives. When we reconnect with the Lord by listening to him, our lives take on new power and meaning. Please join us for this wonderful practice! No prior experience necessary.
